Once again, those signed up for ONLINE SIMULATED LIVE PLAY we WILL be playing in our regular Private Home Game on Tuesday April 26, 2011 at 7 pm PST.
This week’s game will be hosted by Martin (I will be away) – please communicate with him in the chat box or via email if you have any concerns or problems.
We will play in a private 1/2 No Limit Cash session where all participants agree to play the same style as if they were playing in a live 1/2 No Limit Cash game on the Las Vegas Strip. (Due to PokerStars no longer allowing US players to play in “real money” games. We will be playing with virtual “play” money.) In these sessions the blinds are 1/2 and participants are asked to buy in for the number of big blinds they normally buy in for when playing live – between 50-150 big blinds ($100-$300). In order for these sessions to be of value, participants must strive to play their live “A” game style at all times; even though these sessions take place online with virtual dollars.
Before beginning play, please confirm that you are saving your Hand Histories on Poker Stars. Click here for a video.
NOTE: Poker Tracker and the Poker Tracker HUD will not work in “play” money sessions, so please do NOT have Poker Tracker running as this may complicate the sending of your hand history at the completion of the session.
At the end of the session, you agree to email me your hand history. Before logging off Poker Stars at the end of your session, please email me your hand history. Please click here for a video, if you aren’t sure how or need help. (Thanks Marv, for hosting the videos.)
You may then choose to schedule an individual review session and/or participate in a scheduled group review session. (The next group review session is Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 6 pm PST and you may attend in person or join remotely via Skype.) I will review and comment on the play of hands as well as answer questions.
